VR English Lesson in Altspace

Yesterday we held another free English lesson inside virtual reality on the AltspaceVR platform.

With the support of Michael, a native-English-speaking, TEFL-qualified teacher from the UK, students had the chance to learn more about the speaking part of the FCE (First Certificate of English - level B2) examination, where they are required to talk with a partner for a few minutes about a topic using some supporting material. The topic in our immersive English language learning class was about clothes and fashion, and this provided the basis for a wonderful conversation where people explained what they wear in their daily life. We also learned some important vocabulary and idiomatic expressions using clothing language.
